University of Manitoba offers scholarship to candidates who wish to further their studies and obtain degrees in Canada. This scholarship is fully funded and designed to support candidates pursuing master’s or doctorate in Engineering.

Successful candidates will join Dr. Mohammad Nadimi Lab at Manitoba for one PhD and one MSc position in the Department of Biosystems Engineering. The scholarship will fully cover their tuition fees and provide living stipends.

University of Manitoba is a public research university established in 1877. The campus is in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. The University of Manitoba is the largest and only research-intensive university in the region.

Tuition Fees

Domestic students generally pay less than foreigners in Canada. If you are an international student studying at the University of Manitoba, expect to pay between CAD 20,800 and CAD 31,500.

Eligibility Criteria

University of Manitoba Scholarships
  • Applicant must be admitted to a master’s/PhD program
  • Candidate must have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in any of these courses;
  • Biosystems Engineering
  • Electrical/Computer Engineering
  • Agricultural/Biological Engineering
  • Or knowledge of Programming and data analysis
  • Experience in machine learning and deep learning
  • Candidate should have prior research experience
  • Applicant should have scientific publications

Scholarship Benefits

Recipients of the University of Manitoba Scholarship will receive the following benefits;

  • Masters: CAD 21,000 per year
  • PhD: CAD 26,000 per year
