The Oxford-Weidenfeld and Hoffmann Scholarships and Leadership Program was established in 2015 with generous donations from multiple donors to mark Lord Weidenfeld’s 95th birthday.
The Weidenfeld-Hoffmann Scholarships provide an opportunity for outstanding university graduates and professionals from developing and emerging countries to pursue fully funded master’s studies at the University of Oxford in the United Kingdom. This is done alongside a comprehensive leadership development program, long-term mentoring, and networking.
It is coordinated under the Oxford Graduate Scholarships, established through a ground-breaking matched funding initiative to create fully funded scholarships for graduate students of the highest caliber worldwide. The University contributes 40% of the funds for these scholarships, together with 60% from generous donations provided by supporters of the Weidenfeld-Hoffmann Trust, including Fondation Hoffmann.
Through this Leadership Program, scholars engage in philosophical discussions, develop business skills, and participate in communication workshops within a close-knit community. More details can be found on the Weidenfeld-Hoffmann Trust website. Applications are open for Weidenfeld and Hoffmann Scholarships, and interested foreign candidates are welcome to apply for a chance to study in the UK.
