The University of Southern Maine, through its Office of Graduate Studies is offering scholarships to students who wish to obtain Master’s degree in the United States. Graduate students at USM will be awarded partially funded aid during the program.
Candidates who participate in the University of Southern Maine Office of Graduate Studies Scholarship are selected based on their financial need, academic performance and community service.
The University of Southern Maine, established in 1878 as Western Maine Normal School, has campuses in Gorham and Portland, Maine. This public university is the product of a merger between Gorham Normal School and Portland University.
Tuition Fees
As an international student enrolled in a postgraduate program at the University of Southern Maine, you will be paying between $16,680 and $18,684 for an academic year.
Eligibility Criteria
Students must meet the following criteria to be eligible.
- Enroll in a master’s or doctoral program at USM
- Have excellent academic records with a 3.0 GPA or higher
- As an international student you must complete the FAFSA
- You should not be an employee of the University of Maine
Benefits of Scholarship
This is a partially funded program that only offers financial aid to graduate students. Recipients of the University of Winchester scholarship will be awarded financial aid valued at $3,000.
