University of Leicester Undergraduate Scholarship 2025

Tuition Fees

International undergraduate students for the 2025/26 session will pay a £15,550 tuition fee for a full academic program year. You will pay £7,800 for the 1st Semester and another £7,800 for Semester 2.

The cost of studying at the University of Leicester for postgraduate degrees is the same for UK/EU students. Still, for international students, the fees for each postgraduate course will vary depending upon its duration, whether based on a lab or its level.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the University of Leicester Undergraduate Scholarship;

• You must be classified as an international student for fee purposes.
• You must start a full-time, campus-based undergraduate course in September 2025.
• If you currently have a conditional offer of a place at the University, you will still need to fulfill any conditions stated in your offer letter.
• The fee discount will be calculated based on the standard tuition fee for each year of your course.
• The scholarship will be awarded for a maximum of three years. It does not apply to periods of industrial placement, overseas exchange, resit years, or if you suspend your studies for any reason.
• By scholarship guidelines, students can hold only one University of Leicester scholarship. You will only receive the higher value award if you are awarded more than one scholarship.

Benefits of Scholarships

The University of Leicester Undergraduate Merit Scholarship, valued at £20,000, is awarded to recipients for the duration of their undergraduate studies. International students at the University of Leicester who achieve high academic grades will receive £5,000 per year for four years.
