Tuition Fees
The tuition fees that international students pay at the University of Debrecen vary depending on the program and level of study. Undergraduate students average $6,000 per year, and programs typically last 6–7 semesters. Students at the Master’s or PhD level are charged between $6,000 and $16,900 per year.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates who are eligible for the University of Debrecen Scholarships must;
- Not be Hungarian nationals (Be international students)
- Be a citizen of an eligible country.
- Be applying to an eligible undergraduate, Master’s, or PhD program at the University of Debrecen.
- Be more than 18 years old by August 2025.
- Have a high school diploma for undergraduate programs.
- Have a relevant bachelor’s degree for Master’s programs.
- Have a master’s degree in a related field for doctoral programs.
- Have strong academic record and English (or Hungarian) proficiency are needed.
- A medical certificate proving good health is required.
