1. Miami University
Presidential Fellows Scholarship
The Miami University (M.U.) Presidential Fellows Scholarship is a highly competitive program that provides substantial financial support for undergraduate studies.
A student is said to be eligible for this scheme at Miami University if they excel academically, specifically having a 3.50 cumulative grade point average each year. They must give valid reasons to qualify for financial aid. The Presidential Fellows Scholarship offers a four-year, renewable scholarship that covers tuition, campus fees, housing, and meals/feeding.
2. University Of California
Berkeley Scholarship
The University of California Berkeley Scholarship offers scholarships for International students, preferably of African origin, through the Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program.
For a candidate to be eligible for this scholarship, you must have academic talent and be already admitted to a UC Berkeley master’s degree program. You also do not need IELTS, Citizenship, or primary residence. Applications from various students, including women, people with disabilities, and refugees, are all encouraged.
The Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program, based in the Center for African Studies at UC Berkeley, provides fully-funded scholarships for young Africans to study in the USA. From 2012 to 2020, it supported over 120 students.
3. Texas A&M University
Texas A&M University’s scholarship scheme was introduced to make the cost of a college education more affordable for international students. To stand a chance of being selected, you must first complete the University Scholarship Application. Scholarships are open for Undergraduate and Graduate foreign students who excel in academics, leadership, and societal/community service.
Texas A&M University’s financial aid for international students can vary in eligibility and award amounts. Applicants are not required to sit for the IELTS.
4. Bay Atlantic University (BAU)
Bay Atlantic University (BAU) offers various scholarships to international students pursuing a degree in STEM. The scholarships can be for either undergraduate or graduate degrees.
The Scholarship aid awarded under this scheme ranges from 25% to 100% of tuition costs, depending on specific criteria such as academic excellence. An essential requirement is the Global Scholarship Exam (GSE) and English proficiency exam.
5. University of Idaho Scholarships
The University of Idaho has a number of scholarship schemes to support international students in their pursuit of master’s and PhD programs. Undergraduates and graduates can apply to study law or chemistry-related courses.
To qualify for this scholarship, a candidate must possess a CGPA of 3.00 on a 4.00 grade. The institution offers two annual, renewable scholarships that cover 50% of tuition costs for up to four years of study.
6. Duke University
Karsh Scholarship Program
The Karsh International Scholars Program, operated by Duke University, allows international students to apply for undergraduate studies. You must have a solid academic track record and demonstrate financial need to qualify for this opportunity. A candidate must have yet to obtain a B.A. or BSc degree before their studies at Duke University. The scholarship is fully funded, covering 100% of tuition fees and accommodation costs.
7. University Of Notre Dame
Peace Studies Scholarship
The University of Notre Dame Peace Studies Scholarship targets international students interested in peace studies. An eligible candidate holds at least a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution, domestic or international, and you are not required to write IELTS. A student is entitled to full tuition, a generous stipend, health insurance, and additional funding for conference travel and research activities when given admission.
8. Loyola University Of Chicago
Loyola University of Chicago scholarship programs are open to international students (undergraduate and/or graduate) seeking a law degree. Candidates should have demonstrated strong academic performance to be eligible.
