United Nations University Corridors for Refugees UNICORE 7.0 is a program that offers international students scholarship to pursue master’s degrees at Italian Universities. The scheme is organized in collaboration with UNHCR, Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Caritas Italiana, Diaconia Valdese and Centro Astalli.
The aim of this scheme is to provide increased access to opportunities for refugees who reside in certain African countries and India. Students selected to benefit from the UNICORE Scholarship will be exempt from tuition fees at any of the 37 partner universities.
The UNICORE initiative is committed to promoting an inclusive and accessible environment for all participants. Applications are open and interested candidates are encouraged to apply for a chance to study in Italy.
Eligibility Criteria
The requirements are as follows:
- You must be a national of an eligible country
- Applicant must have bachelor’s degree
- You should have a 3.0 GPA or higher
- Applicants must prove English language proficiency
- Candidates should not have previously enrolled in a degree program at any Partner Universities.

Scholarship Benefits
Successful candidates will be provided with exemption from tuition fees. They will receive study grant to assist with cost of living and financial support for visa-related expenses. The aid also covers plane tickets for international travel.

Application Procedure
- Candidates can apply through the preferred university’s website
- Partner universities and not UNHCR will select eligible students.
