UNESCO Prize for Girls and Women’s Education 2025

The UNESCO Prize for Girls’ and Women’s Education honours outstanding and innovative contributions made by individuals, institutions, and organizations to advance girls’ and women’s education.

Established in 2015, it is funded by the Government of the People’s Republic of China to help further the work of laureates in this field. The scholarship is offered for Masters, Diploma, PhD, Post Doc, Training & Short courses and Conferences.

Eligibility criteria

UNESCO Prize for Girls’ and Women’s Education, 2025 is granted to the individuals, institutions, or non-governmental organizations, who made an outstanding innovation and contributions that effectively promoted the advancement of girls’ and women’s education.

Application Procedure

• If your country is a UNESCO Member State, you are to be nominated by your Government or an NGO in official partnership with UNESCO
• Nominations must be submitted in English or French via an online platform
