Université de Montréal (UdeM) sponsors the exemption scholarship to enable international students to enroll in undergraduate and graduate programs with support for tuition fees in Canada. Students who make the shortlist will receive funding to study any course at the undergraduate, master’s, and PhD levels.
The UdeM Exemption Scholarship was introduced in 2020, and since then, students from around the world have gotten the opportunity to benefit. The purpose is to help the best talent from all countries attend one of the finest francophone research universities in the world.
Université de Montréal also the University of Montreal, is a French-language institution established in 1878. This public research university has its campus in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. The university operates two affiliated schools, the École Polytechnique and the HEC Montréal.
Tuition Fees
The tuition fees students pay at the University of Montreal are determined by their program and level of study. As an international student, you will be charged between CAD 18,000 and CAD 27,000.
Eligibility Criteria

- Applicant can be a domestic or international student
- Candidate must enroll in a program at the University of Montreal
- Applicant must hold a study permit
- You should not be the recipient of any other tuition fee waiver
Benefits of Scholarship
Candidates selected for the undergraduate scholarship will receive financial aid worth between $6,548 and $13,740. Masters and PhD beneficiaries will receive up to $15,150 and $22,908 respectively, which will be applied to the tuition fees.

- Once you gain admission, the university will email you the amount of the scholarship
