ATLAS Scholarship is an initiative of the University of Twente, created for the purpose of offering financial support to non-European students to study a wide range of courses at bachelor’s level in the Netherlands.
The 2025 ATLAS Scholarship is worth 6000 euros and available at University College Twente for undergraduate studies in the area of Technology, Liberal Arts and Sciences.
Established as Twente Technical College in 1961, the University of Twente is a public technical university ranked in the world’s top 170 universities. The campus is located in Enschede, Netherlands.
Tuition Fees
The tuition fees that international students are expected to pay at Twente typically range from €9,630 to €15,500 for bachelor’s program. Students at master’s level will be looking at paying between €14,380 to €22,450.
Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible, the requirements outlined below must be fulfilled.
- Candidate must have been offered admission (ATLAS)
- Applicants are required to provide evidence of financial need
- You must have exceptional academic results
- Candidates must be assets to University of Twente community
- Applicants must provide salary statements of parents or legal guardians and recent tax returns.

Benefits of Scholarship
Candidates selected to benefit from this funding scheme will be awarded €6,000 annually for three years. Renewal of this scholarship is dependent on the recipient continually meeting the requirements.
Application Procedure
- You must first apply for admission to the ATLAS program at Twente
- During the application, interested candidates should indicate that they wish to apply for a UCT-ATLAS scholarship.
