Trent University, a public higher institution in Oshawa, Canada, was founded in 1964. The university has a student body comprising approximately 9,000 undergraduates and 700 graduates currently enrolled.

Tuition fees for international students in Bachelor’s programs at Trent University are $30,549. Other fees they will pay include books and supplies ($1,500) and housing and meals ($11,000–$16,500). For graduate students, their tuition fee is set at around $32,249.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible, an applicant must;
- Be an international student studying in Canada on a study permit.
- Have applied to an undergraduate degree program at Trent University.
- Have applied to an postgraduate degree program at Trent University.
- Upload two letters of recommendation.
- Be entering Trent University from a recognized secondary school, college, or other university.
- Meet Trent University’s admission requirements, including general and degree-specific requirements and the English Language Admission Standard.
- Have demonstrated leadership through community service or excellence in the arts, sports, or other areas of individual achievement.

How to Apply
- Firstly, applicants must be admitted to any Undergraduate Degree program at Trent.
- After admission, students can apply for scholarships.
- Proceed to apply for Prestigious Scholarships. One application qualifies you for all prestigious scholarships.
- The application form can be found on your myTrent applicant portal located under the Finances tab > International > “International Undergraduate Scholarships & Awards Application (2025)” form.
