The University of Findlay Scholarships are available in the United States for international students studying a variety of Undergraduate courses. The partly funded scholarship supports incoming fresh undergraduates with aid valued at $24,000 per year for four years.
The University of Findlay, established in 1882, is located in Ohio, USA. It was originally founded as Findlay College by the Churches of God, General Conference (then Churches of God in North America), and the citizens of the city of Findlay. The university offers over 88 Bachelor’s degree programs, 11 Master’s programs, and five Doctorate programs. More than 3,500 students, including over 1,000 graduate students, are enrolled at Findlay.
The Scholarship recipients are selected based on their cumulative grade point average, and graduate students can earn additional scholarships for getting good scores on the GRE or GMAT tests. Applications for the University of Findlay Scholarships are still open, and interested international applicants are welcome to apply on the webpage.
Tuition Fees
The cost of studying at a higher institution varies for American and international students, but it is within the same range. International undergraduate students at the University of Findlay pay a tuition fee of over $38,000 per year, and international graduate students pay between $37,880 and $43,830 per year.
Eligibility Criteria
The requirements for participating in the University of Findlay Scholarships are as follows;
- All applicants must be international students.
- All applicants must be admitted into the undergraduate degree program at UoF.
- Your achievements, such as community service, leadership qualities, and levels of motivation, should be highlighted for consideration.
- You are eligible if you are enrolling full-time in the Honours program in the semester for which the scholarship is awarded.
- Demonstrate exceptional personal success skills such as emotional maturity, motivation, and perseverance.
Scholarship Benefits
If you are selected among the successful candidates, you will receive a grant of up to $24,000 per year. The scholarship is renewable each year of your study at the University of Findlay, but it depends on your cumulative grade point average.
Application Procedure
To apply, you will need the following documents;
- A high school transcript and/or GSE results (if your transcript is not in English, also require a certified translation)
- Applicants are required to provide evidence of meeting the University of Findlay’s minimum English language proficiency requirements.
- Apply for admission through the University of Findlay’s Application Portal.
- Ensure you complete the application form, as it will be used to determine admissibility.
- There is no separate scholarship application process at Findlay. Once you apply for admission, scholarships are applied automatically as part of the admittance process.
