Slovakia National Scholarship Program 2025

The Government of the Slovak Republic launched the National Scholarship Program, NSP, in 2025 with the aim of supporting students, PhD candidates, university lecturers, researchers and artists to pursue various studies.

Ministry of Education, Research, Development and Youth of the Slovak Republic finances the scholarship from the state budget to enable international students study in the country.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible, you must:

• Be an international student/lecturer/researcher/artist
• Enroll in a master’s program
• Be ready to live in Slovakia during your studies
• Enroll in a PhD program

Applicants must possess the documents outlined below.

• Acceptance/offer letter
• Degree certificate
• Letters of recommendation

Benefits of Scholarship

The NSP Scholarship program is worth between 620 EUR and 1,470 EUR. Financial aid covers recipients’ living costs, accommodation, and travel grants.
