1. Singapore International Graduate Award
This scholarship is awarded to International students applying for PhD degrees in biomedical sciences and physical science and engineering.
The universities that accept this scholarship in Singapore are the National University of Singapore (NUS), the Nanyang Technological University (NTU), and the Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD).
International students are entitled to a monthly stipend of SGD 2,000–SGD 2,500, a one-time airfare grant, and a one-time settling-in allowance.
You are eligible to apply for this if you are a graduate with an excellent academic record, an MSc holder with a passion for research, and good communication skills in English.
2. Commonwealth Scholarship for Integrated Science
Commonwealth Scholarship for Integrated Science is offered to International students applying for Master’s or PhD programs. It is available across universities in Commonwealth nations.
The scholarship covers travel expenses, tuition fees, and other allowances. The eligibility criteria for this aid are that you must have a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree, be a citizen of any commonwealth country, and shouldn’t have already registered for the Master’s/Bachelor’s course at any other university.
Furthermore, applicants must get a minimum score of 60% in Social science and 65% in Science subjects and should be below 40 years of age when applying.
3. ADB – Japan Scholarship for Developing Countries
The Asian Development Bank (ADB) – Japan scholarship is awarded to International students for postgraduate studies in economics, science, business, management, or technology. Universities that accept beneficiaries of this scholarship are those in ADB member countries.
The funding covers tuition fees, monthly living allowance, study material, medical insurance, travel expenses + allowance for research and thesis preparation. You are eligible to apply for this scholarship if you are a citizen of an ADB’s borrowing member country, hold a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent, have already gained admission to an approved course in a participating university, and should be no more than 35 years at the time of application.
4. SIA Youth Scholarship
Singapore Airlines (SIA) scholarship supports International students undergoing two years of pre-university studies in Singapore. Select colleges in Singapore accept candidates who are beneficiaries of this scheme, which covers tuition fees, exam fees, living expenses, medical benefits, and accident insurance.
Eligible candidates will be selected based on their previous academic record after taking a selection test and subsequently attending a selection interview.
5. Lee Kong Chian Graduate Scholarships
Lee Kong Chian Graduate Scholarships are available to international students seeking a doctorate (PhD) from the National University of Singapore.
The scholarship provides a monthly stipend of SGD 3,300, tuition, examination fees, and other approved fees at NUS, a one-off travel allowance, and a one-off laptop allowance.
The eligibility criteria entail being a graduate who must have been admitted for a full-time degree at NUS. Also, you should have been selected for the Singapore Ministry of Education (MOE) subsidy.
6. ASEAN Foundation Scholarships
The Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) scholarship is awarded to international students who want to start postgraduate studies in Science and Technology.
The Chulabhorn Graduate Institute welcomes scholarship beneficiaries, and the funding covers tuition, other academic fees, airfare, visa fees, relocation allowance, monthly allowance, study material allowance, and health insurance, among other things.
Eligible candidates for ASEAN Foundation Scholarships must be under 30 years of age and have a Bachelor’s degree in the Sciences, Medical Sciences, or Pharmacy.
International students who can benefit from Singapore Millennium Foundation Scholarships are predoctoral and postdoctoral applicants who want to become research scientists and engineers.

Singapore Millennium Foundation Scholarships come with monthly stipends and travel fees for international students. Applicants are eligible if they are graduate students enrolled in or intend to study at a university or research institute in Singapore.
