London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine 2026 LSHTM Fund Scholarship

The London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine Fund Scholarship is offered to support outstanding candidates who would be unable to take up a place of study without financial assistance. To be eligible for the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine Fund Scholarship, applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Be nationals of and resident in low to middle income countries, as defined by the World Bank
• Intend to return to a low to middle income country upon completion of the MSc programme at LSHTM
• Confirm in writing that they would not otherwise be able to pay for the proposed programme of study
• Meet LSHTM’s minimum English language requirements as stated in the admissions system
• Hold a first-class or upper second-class honours undergraduate degree from a UK university, or an overseas qualification of equivalent standard
• Hold an offer of admission for the 2026 to 2027 academic year for one of LSHTM’s London-based intensive MSc programmes

• A tax-free living allowance of £22,500 per year to support accommodation and living expenses

The application process for the LSHTM Fund Scholarship 2026 consists of two stages. Applicants must complete both steps by 23:59 GMT on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, to be considered.

Step One

• Submit an application for admission to a London-based MSc programme for the 2026 to 2027 academic year, following the instructions on the programme’s official webpage

  Step Two

• After submitting your MSc application, you will receive an automated email from the LSHTM Scholarships Team containing a link to the online scholarships application portal
• Log in using the temporary password provided and update your login details via the e-vision system
• Search for “LSHTM Fund Scholarship” in the portal
• Complete all required questions and submit the scholarship application
• A confirmation email will be sent once your application is successfully submitted
• Applications will not be accepted after the deadline, and the Scholarships Team will contact applicants with the outcome in due course.
