The QUEST Undergraduate Scholarship is a program that offers financial support to students seeking bachelor’s degrees in the United Kingdom. Candidates must be pursuing or intending to undertake studies in Civil Engineering at any UK higher institution.
This scholarship is provided by the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) and funded jointly by QUEST and a sponsor company, but there are a few fully funded by the CF Lunoe Trust and Butler Trust. The scheme QUEST welcomes applications from anyone and awards scholarships to everyone regardless of race, age, gender identity, disability, sexual orientation or religion/belief.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicant must apply for admission to a UK institution
- Candidate must enroll in a bachelor’s program
- You must be majoring in Engineering
- Students should have A-level grades of ABB or higher
- You should be proficient in the use of English
Selection Criteria
The QUEST Committee chooses candidates based on the following criteria;
- Academic ability
- Passion and dedication to civil engineering
- Understanding current challenges and in the future
- Leadership qualities and potential
- Strength of character
- Examples of successful team-working
- Evidence of any relevant work experience
Scholarship Benefits
Recipients of the Quest Undergraduate Scholarship will receive financial aid valued at £8,000. The scholarship includes paid work placements and the potential for a full-time job with a leading civil engineering or construction company upon graduation.
Application Process
- Apply for admission to any university in the UK
- Proceed to complete the scholarship application form
- Once you finish, your submission will be reviewed by the QUEST Committee
- After which successful candidates will be invited to a video interview
