The Role of Self help in Rural Development in Nigeria

ABSTRACT

The main theme of this research work is to examine the role of self help effort in rural development in Nigeria. Therefore, the study examines the importance of self help initiatives in rural development and also investigates the challenges affecting effectiveness of self help in rural development
In so doing, the whole research study is divided into five main chapters. The first chapter is the background. The second chapter contains the review of relevant literary works and conceptual analysis of necessary terms. The third chapter is the research methodology which deals with the method and procedure for the collection and analysis of data for the research work. The fourth chapter is the data analysis which is obtained from the administered questionnaires. The chapter also contains the testing of the formulated hypotheses. The fifth chapter contains the summary of findings, recommendations and conclusion based on the general findings of the research work.
