This is a master’s dissertation that focused on Public Relations and the corporate image of Champions Breweries, Uyo.

Corporate image is the totality of the impressions the various publics of an organization have of it. The impression may be positive or negative, hence reflecting in the growth of the organization. Every organization seeks to create a good impression in the minds of its numerous publics, and Champion Breweries PLC, Uyo is no exception. A few years back, Champion Breweries PLCS, pioneer producer and distributor of “Champion Lager Beer and Champ Malt” was observed to that Champion Breweries was caught up by dwindling economic policies in the State and some forms of mismanagement. And since then, the company has been striving to attain or exceed its former height using some strategies, yet it still seems its products are out of the market. It is against this backdrop that this study seeks to know the contributions of Public Relations in positioning or influencing the corporate image of Champion Breweries.
