ABSTRACT
This study was designed to find out internal conflicts in Nigerian Universities; Causes, Effects and Resolutions. The causes of internal conflicts, its effects and the necessary solutions to them have been intensively discussed to help in the growth and development of University Education in Nigeria. The survey research design was employed with a random sample of 100 females and 70 males from University of Uyo, Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria. Three null hypotheses were postulated and tested with chi-square (X2). The research finds out that there are causes, effects as well as effective ways of managing internal conflicts in Nigerian Universities. Based on the findings, a number of recommendations as well as suggestions for further studies were made.
