    ABSTRACT

    The study of inter-group relations in Kwara state and Kogi state from 1960-2015 between and among Patigi community in Kwara and Egbe in Kogi states respectively revealed the mutual relationship that co-exist among the both communities’ in areas such as trade, religious beliefs, economic activities, commerce, and local industries. Also there are major factors that were responsible for the establishment of inter-group relationship in this communities’.
    This friendly relationship brought about peaceful co-existence, tolerance, economic prosperity and boost in economies of both communities’ respectively, for the common goal and development of their areas.
