ABSTRACT

The study sought to examine impact of compensation and working condition on organisation productivity. Descriptive survey research design was adopted, data were collected through a structured questionnaire. The population of the study are one hundred and twenty-seven, covers all members of staff and management of Nigeria Bottling Company Plc, Asejire in Oyo State. Since there was predetermine criteria for selection out of which only One hundred and twenty-five were returned adequately filled and others were returned unfilled using purposive sampling technique because of respondents’ level of understanding of subject matter of research. The choice was deliberate to optimize resources and to get reliable information. Correlation analysis was used to analyse the data collected. The findings revealed that compensation and working condition have significant impact on organisational’ productivity of Nigeria Bottling Company Plc, Asejire. Furthermore, with variables statistically significant at 95% confident limit and sig r = .812, P < 0.000 meaning that there is significant correlation between compensation and organisation productivity. Also, with variables statistically significant at 95% confident limit and p-value of 0.002 i.e. p < 0.05, meaning that there is positive relationship between working condition and organisation productivity. In addition with variables statistically significant at 95% confident limit and sig with p-value of 0.002 i.e. p < 0.05, meaning that working hours has a great influence on employee productivity. Based on the findings the study concluded that compensation and working condition has a significant influence on organisational productivity. Therefore, the study recommends that business organisation should give a better salary to their employee in other to keep them motivated to perform best at all level, in the same vein monetary benefits and performance evaluation should be encouraged and implemented in other to maintain the standard of organisation.
