ABSTRACT
The evaluation of some physico-chemical parameters of packaged water stored for over a period of 23weeks were determined to investigate their quality. Analyses were done on the water samples for pH, Electrical conductivity (EC), Total dissolved solids (TDS), temperature, Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD), Turbidity, and Sodium (Na) using standard methods and evaluated with the World Health Organization standards variations in the physical and chemical parameters such as pH (6.0 to 6.5), Total dissolved solids (TDS) (0.0-11), Temperature (30.2-30.3) Chemical oxygen demand (7.05-13.8mg/L), Biochemical oxygen demand (0.001 to 0.094mg/L), Sodium (7.70 to 8.04 mg/L), Turbidity (0.00 to 0.022NTU) Electrical conductivity (39 to 52), All physicochemical parameters analysed in the packaged water samples were within recommended standards except for Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD).
