This project title the effect of teaching mammalian skeletal system sing charts, realia and videos was conducted in Funtua local Government area. Eight (08) senior secondary schools were involve in the study with a total popul ation of thirteen thousand seven hundred and fourteen (13,714), two hundred and forty (240)students were randomly selected using Krejcie and Morgan table of sample, comprising male and females from the eight (08) schools to represent the whole students in the four experimental groups categorized (i.e. 1st experimental group, 2nd experimental group, 3rd experimental group and fourth experimental group ). Achievement test was used in the analysis which was validated by three experts from biology department (FCE) Katsina. The result was subjected to analysis using analysis of variance (ANOVA); the two null hypotheses were rejected and one null hypothesis is accepted. This shows there is significant effect of instructional aids on students achievement in mammalian skeletal system concepts. Moreover, there is no significant effect of gender on students’ achievement in mammalian skeletal system concepts. Similarly, there is significant interaction effect of instructional aid and gender on achievement in mammalian skeletal system concepts. All in favour of instructional aids, it was recommended that biology teachers should use variety of instructional materials for teaching and learning biology to be more interesting and effective. Similarly, more attention should be paid to them.
