ABSTRACT
The study investigates the determinants of sustainability reporting of listed Deposit Money banks in Nigerian. Correlational and Ex-post Facto research design was adopted to examine the determinants of sustainability reporting of DMBs in Nigeria. Multiple regression was adopted for the study, in which fixed and random effect test was conducted. The result indicates that firm size, leverage and profitability have significant effect on sustainability reporting quality while directors and board meeting has an insignificant effect on sustainability reporting of DMBs in Nigeria. The study recommends That management of quoted DMBs in Nigeria should increase their profitability, this could be done by engaging in speculating and hedging activities using derivatives. This is because it impacts positively and significantly on sustainability reporting quality of quoted DMBs in Nigeria. Also, Investors of DMBs in Nigeria should give less consideration to corporate characteristics such as independent directors in investment decision because it does not significantly determine sustainability reporting quality.
