ABSTRACT

The Purpose of the study is to investigate the Contribution of Federal College of Education (Technical) Omoku on the Socio-economic Development of Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni L.G.A, Four research questions were formulated to guide the study. The design of the survey; the sample of the study was30 students, 29 lecturers and 29 Non-academic staffs with the total of 70, the sample was drawn using a simple random sampling technique. The instruments for this study was a Questionnaire and four (4) point structure questionnaire was developed and administrated the sample size of 30 students, 29 lecturers and 29 Non-academic staffs randomly selected from 70 students, lecturers and Non-academic staffs. The reliability was tested using Pearson’s product moment correlation coefficient (PPMCC) which produced a correlation coefficient of 0.88, this depicts that the instrument for data collection is greatly reliable. The statistical mean method was used for the analysis of data.
Based on the finding it was recommended that Students, Lecturers and Non-academic staffs have benefit from the contribution of Federal College of Education (Technical) Omoku on the Socio-economic Development in Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Local Government Area through the assistance of the school management, the contributions of the lecturers on the academic contributions towards entrepreneurship and the employment of Lecturers and Non-academic staffs.
