ABSTRACT

The topic assessing the minimum criteria for basic access afforded by rural transport infrastructure in Ogbogbo community has tremendous effect on economic and social transport. However , these research work consider the criteria required for necessary access in Ogbogbo Community and establishing the essential transport infrastructural for the community. Fifty seven (57) out of the Sixty (60) distributed questionnaire to the Ogbogbo neighbourhood were retrieved. Data was collected through questionnaire, personal interview and analysed using percentage table and hypothesis. It therefore provides response for how they examine and determine the role to be played in the transport infrastructure. This work investigate the current condition of the basis access in the community of Ogbogbo. It is also discuss the factors and problems of the basis access of Ogbogbo community, and also the solutions to the problem. It was therefore, recommended that the State Government should avoid the use of non-professionals in executing the exercise in order to ensure a free hitch exercise
