The University of Oxford, fondly referred to by students and academicians as Oxford University, is a collegiate research university in Oxford, England, United Kingdom. The globally renowned higher institution was founded in 1096, making it the oldest university in the English-speaking world.
Oxford University will run a Digital Scholarship program in 2025 to support international students with excellent academic performance in studying specific master’s courses at the university in the UK.
The MSc Digital Scholarship offers over 1,000 students full or partial graduate scholarships across a wide range of disciplines/courses. The 2025 Oxford University Digital Scholarship will provide beneficiaries with the tools and knowledge to surmount challenges and lead and manage digital projects in and outside the strictly academic domain.
Tuition Fees
Domestic undergraduate students at the University of Oxford will pay a tuition fee of £9,250 in the 2025/26 academic year. This is in line with the cap in place from the current year, as it is the University’s policy to charge fees at the level of the cap set by the government. The tuition fees that international students are expected to pay range from £28,950 to £44,240, and they vary based on the course of study.
Eligibility Criteria
For an interested applicant to participate in the 2025 Oxford University MSc Digital Scholarship, you must:
- Be a first-class or upper-second-class solid undergraduate degree with honors in a relevant discipline in the humanities.
- Have a bachelor’s degree from the USA.
- The minimum overall GPA required to meet the undergraduate-level requirement is 3.6.
- Note that the selection of candidates also depends on other factors in your application, and most successful applicants have achieved higher GPA scores.
- Entrance is competitive, and most successful applicants have a first-class or equivalent degree.
- If your degree is not from the UK or another country specified above, visit the university’s International Qualifications page for guidance on the qualifications and grades that would usually be considered to meet the University’s minimum entry requirements.
- The master’s program requires proficiency in English, so you may need to provide evidence that you meet this requirement.

- Personal statement: It should be a minimum of 500 words to a maximum of 1,000 words.
- Written work – Write two essays of a maximum of 2,000 words each or one essay of a maximum of 4,000 words.
