Munster Technological University Scholarships 2025

Munster Technological University Scholarships 2025

Munster Technological University is a multi-campus technological university in Ireland. The tertiary institution was founded in January 2021, making it one of the youngest technological universities. This public technological institute results from a merger between the Cork Institute of Technology and the Institute of Technology, Tralee. Interestingly, it comprises six campuses located in Cork and Kerry, Ireland.

Every three years, the Munster Technological University Scholarships offer full funding to international students for PhD research in several fields available at the top-ranked Irish institution.

MTU received a remarkable donation of €14.6m in January 2024 to propel her strategic goals in Research and Innovation. The university is proud to boast the largest R&I expenditure in Ireland’s TU sector, totaling €30m, alongside the highest direct-funded research income from industry partnerships.

Twenty beneficiaries will be selected to be awarded the fully funded PhD scholarship under the higher institution’s groundbreaking TU RISE Scholarship program. Applications are open for the Munster Technological University scholarship, and international candidates are encouraged to apply for a fully funded graduate opportunity in Ireland.

Tuition Fees

International (non-EU) students undertaking a full-time undergraduate program at MTU will initially be assessed the non-EU fee rate of €13,500 per annum; however, in many cases, students may be eligible for the EU Rate.

For those pursuing graduate studies, the tuition fees at Munster Technological University Ireland depend on the course of study, but they typically range between €13500 and €15000 per year.
