Ferguson Postgraduate Taught Scholarship is designed for Africans and Indian nationals to pursue academic programs in the UK. The funding scheme is available for Master’s degree studies in selected fields at Aston University.
The Allan and Nesta Ferguson Charitable Trust initiated the Ferguson Scholarship with the primary aim of improving educational opportunities for students who would not ordinarily be able to consider studying in the United Kingdom.
Aston University is a public university founded in 1895 as the Birmingham Municipal Technical School. Aston, which became the UK’s first college of advanced technology in 1956, is located in Birmingham, England.
Tuition Fees
As an international student studying at Aston University, the tuition fees for an undergraduate degree program is around £14,500. Postgraduate students should expect to pay around £ 23,500 for a session.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicant must be an African or Indian national
- You must have received an offer of admission from Aston
- You should hold a second-class upper Bachelor’s degree
- Applicant should not be in receipt of any other scholarship
- Candidate must enroll in any of the eligible master’s courses

Benefits of Scholarship
The Aston University scholarship is fully funded. Recipients of this scholarship will receive up to $22,500 for the full coverage of tuition fees. Aston University will provide candidates with £6,000 for living costs.
