The Developing Solutions Masters Scholarship is sponsored by the University of Nottingham and offers students from developing countries the opportunity to undertake postgraduate studies in the United Kingdom.
The University of Nottingham, located in Nottingham, England, United Kingdom, was founded as a University College in 1881. At the time of its creation, the University was housed in the Arkwright Building in the Centre of Nottingham, a structure now occupied by Nottingham Trent University.
The Developing Solutions program awards full or partial scholarships covering tuition fees to 150 outstanding students passionate about making a difference. These students will study at the University of Nottingham.
Focused on fostering innovation, the Nottingham Developing Solutions Scholarship supports international students across various disciplines, such as Engineering, Science, and Business.
This scholarship offers financial support and access to a vibrant academic community committed to addressing global challenges. Applications are now open, and qualified foreign students interested in studying at the University of Florida are welcome to apply.
Tuition Fees
Tuition fees at the University of Nottingham are determined by the program to which students gain admission to study. However, the payment differs for home and international students at UK higher education institutions. The average tuition fee that international students pay is from £10,710 to £35,750. Domestic typically pay between £9,250 to £14,700. If you are a part-time or course student, you must pay a proportion of the stated fee for each year of the course, depending on the extent of study.
Eligibility Criteria
The requirements highlighted below must be met by candidates for them to be eligible for the scholarship.
Applicant must;
- Be a citizen/national of a Commonwealth country.
- Have an excellent academic background.
- Be a citizen and current resident of an eligible Commonwealth or developing country.
- Be classified as an international student for tuition purposes.
- Have an offer to study a full-time master’s program in Nottingham’s Faculty of Engineering, Medicine and Health Sciences, Science, or Social Sciences.
- Cannot currently be studying in the UK.
- Demonstrate a commitment to contributing to development solutions in their home country.
- Must not have previously studied at the University of Nottingham or hold a degree from any UK institution
- Meet any additional English language requirements as specified by the chosen program.

Africa, Anguilla, Antigua and Barbuda, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Barbados, Belize, Bermuda, British Virgin Islands, Nauru, Brunei, Cayman Islands, Dominica, Falkland Islands, Fiji, Gibraltar, Grenada, Guyana, India, Tonga, Jamaica, Kiribati, Malaysia, Maldives, Montserrat, Nepal.
Papua New Guinea, Pitcairn Islands, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Sri Lanka, St Helena, St Kitts and Nevis, St Lucia, St Vincent and the Grenadines, Trinidad and Tobago, Tristan da Cunha, Turks and Caicos Islands, Tuvalu and Vanuatu.
Scholarship Benefits
Selected candidates will be awarded a scholarship that covers 100 percent or 50 percent of tuition fees. The scholarship affords them access to top faculty and research at Nottingham and will allow them to work part-time to support living costs.
Furthermore, it will provide them with the opportunity to network with a global community while enhancing their leadership and problem-solving skills.
