Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications was founded in 1929 with the vision of building a “well-equipped and influential university.” In the 1940s, the higher institution, whose campus is located in Chongqing, China, had developed into a comprehensive university with a complete system of disciplines covering liberal arts, science, engineering, and medicine.
Chongqing University CSC Scholarship is funded by the Chinese Government and targets international students who wish to pursue a master’s or doctorate degree in China. This scholarship is fully funded and will cover all the beneficiaries’ expenses. The duration of the master’s degree program is 3 years, while the PhD program is 4 years.
Tuition Fees
The tuition fees that students at Chongqing University pay are typically between 14,000 and 20,000 CNY for a Bachelor’s degree. Masters students are charged between 21,000 and 49,000 CNY per year, and the tuition fees for doctorate students range from 25,000 to 38,000 CNY/year.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the Chongqing University CSC Scholarship, you must be:
- Non-Chinese citizens
- In good health
- A bachelor’s degree holder under the age of 35 when applying for the master’s programs;
- A master’s degree holder under 40 when applying for doctoral programs.
- The requirements for the applicant’s degree and age are that applicants must:
- Applicants should provide evidence of Language Proficiency.
- Applicants should not have obtained any other scholarships.

Scholarship Benefits
Chongqing University CSC Scholarship is a fully funded scholarship that provides 100% coverage for tuition, accommodation, comprehensive medical insurance, and registration fees. Recipients will also be given a monthly allowance for a Master’s Degree—3,000 CNY/month—and a Doctorate Degree—3,500 CNY/month.

- Visit the CSC website to complete the application form: https://studyinchina.csc.edu.cn.
- Upload all the necessary documents and then download the application form.
- The Scholarship Type is B, and the Agency Number is 10617.
- All students must also submit their online application through the university’s online portal: https://cqupt.17gz.org.
