California State University is a government-established higher institution in Los Angeles, California, United States. It has existed since 1857, and is the largest public university system in the country. CSU consists of 23 campuses and seven off-campus centers, housing a student body of over 457,992.
The 2025 California State University Scholarship is designed to provide financial support for students seeking to pursue Master’s degree at the American institution.
It is a Graduate Research Assistantship position that candidates will undertake for two years and the value of the scholarship is $22,500. This will be awarded per year alongside a-year of tuition waiver.
To be selected, interested applicants must demonstrate interest in an interdisciplinary project in Climate Extremes and Remote Sensing. The project Research Topics include Climate Extremes including Drought, Flooding, Wildfire, and Heatwave Analysis using Remote Sensing Observations in Southern California.
Tuition Fees
As an international student at California State University, the cost of studying undergraduate program is typically around $44,337. This is inclusive of tuition fees and additional fees. Postgraduate students will generally pay tuition fees of about $45,759.

Scholarship Benefits
Recipients of this scholarship will receive Graduate Student Support valued at $24,000 per year. They will also be given academic stipend and be part of a summer internship at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory.
