Furthermore, the University of Notre Dame practices need-blind admissions for all students, meaning an applicant’s financial situation is not considered when evaluating the application for admission.
Tuition Fees
The cost of tuition at the University of Notre Dame is determined by a student’s study load and the discipline of their offered courses. The average tuition fee is $65,025, while room and meals are about $17,900. The estimated cost for books, personal expenses, and transportation is $3,200. A $75 application fee must be paid for each application.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the scholarship, a candidate must:
- Apply to an undergraduate program at the University of Notre Dame.
- Be a domestic or an international student.
- Meet the English Language requirements of the University.
- Possess high academic records and provide high school transcripts.
- Provide letters of recommendation from a teacher and counselor.
Scholarship Benefits
The Notre Dame Scholars Program provides over 20 scholarships for lucky first-year students of the University of Notre Dame. It awards a grant of $100,000. The scholarship awarded to recipients is valued at $25,000 per academic year, for $100,000 over four years. Also, in some cases, generous enrichment funding for scholarship, service, and leadership projects.
How To Apply
- Gain admission at the University after applying via its portal.
- Apply through either Common Application or Coalition Application.
- Complete the Notre Dame Writing Supplement.
- Pay a non-refundable $75 application fee.
- Submit a copy of your passport via the applicant status portal.
- Submit optional ACT/SAT scores, if applicable.
- Provide TOEFL, IELTS, DET, or PTE Academic scores if your first language is not English.
- Provide high school transcripts and a letter of recommendation from a teacher.
- For non-U.S. citizens applying for need-based financial aid, complete the CSS Profile.
