The Transform Together Scholarship is open to students from non-EU countries who are applying to study at Sheffield Hallam University, UK, for the next academic year. Partial scholarships will be awarded to well-qualified students who demonstrate academic, personal, or professional achievement on their scholarship application form. Successful applicants will be awarded a certificate to mark their achievement following enrollment in their course.
Sheffield Hallam University is a public research university in the United Kingdom. It was founded in 1843 and is one of the UK’s largest and most diverse universities, with a total enrollment of 33,830 and 4,500 staff. The Transform Together scholarships are available for students at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels at the UK higher institution.
Tuition Fees
Depending on your course, your fees might include UK field trips and professional body membership. If it is a Standard year, domestic students will pay £9,250, while international students are charged £15,860. The University of Sheffield tuition fee for International/EU postgraduate research students starting full-time study is £17,725 per year.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicant must be an international or a European Union (non-UK) fee-paying student.
- Applicant must have accepted an offer to teach a full-time undergraduate or postgraduate course at Sheffield Hallam University.
- Be fully self-funding your studies.
- Be able to pay any additional fees your course may require, such as field trips.
- Postgraduate applicants must have achieved a minimum 2.1 or equivalent in their honors degree and meet your course’s English and academic entry requirements.
- Undergraduate applicants must achieve the English and academic entry requirements for the course. If you are awarded an undergraduate scholarship, you must complete each study year to continue receiving the fee waiver.
Applicants are not eligible if they:
- Are receiving full or partial funding for your studies from a sponsor or other scholarship provider
- Are studying a Sheffield Hallam course at a partner institution or
- Have an offer for the Graduate Certificate International Pre-Masters in Business and English or International Foundation Programme in art, design and media or business, law and social sciences, and Science, Technology, Engineering, and Maths. You can apply for a scholarship for the course you will progress onto following the successful completion of the preparation program.
Scholarship Benefits
Candidates selected for postgraduate courses and each year of an undergraduate degree will get a tuition fee waiver of 50 percent. You are entitled to a package of incentives to be confirmed, which comprises a Sheffield Hallam University hoodie, the opportunity to become an alumni ambassador back in your home country, and a program of events that aims to enhance your learning and social experience with fellow scholars. Successful scholars will be expected to represent Sheffield Hallam University through various activities during the academic year and after graduation.
Application Procedure
There are three steps to your scholarship application, and the first is to;
- Apply for a course (UG/PG) at Sheffield Hallam. If you have not already done so, please visit the school’s online prospectus.
- The second is to submit a Transform Together scholarship application form.
- Thirdly, send your academic transcripts to [email protected].
You will be notified if you have been successful within one month of the deadline. Successful applicants will be awarded a certificate to mark their achievement following enrollment in their course.
Your scholarship application will not be considered if you do not provide your SI number on the online application form.
