The Australian National University (ANU) Chancellor’s International Scholarship offers an opportunity to students from around the world who wish to pursue undergraduate, master’s and PhD studies in Australia. The partially funded scheme is designed to attract a diverse range of high-calibre international students.

These scholarships are distributed into nine categories with at least one category applicable for students from anywhere in the world. Australian National University came into existence in 1946, created in a spirit of post-war optimism. This public research university in Canberra, Australia is a member of the Group of Eight.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Applicant must be an overseas student.
  • Candidate must have received an offer of admission
  • Candidate should not have previously received this scholarship for the same level of study.
  • You should not be receiving any other scholarship.

Selection Process

ANU International Chancellor’s Scholarship

Selection of candidates is based on academic merit. Eligible applicants with multiple qualifications will be ranked according to the qualification used for admission.

Benefits of Scholarship

ANU offers 200 scholarships to candidates annually. Successful candidates will receive aid covering 25% or 50% of tuition fees. Recipients are also guaranteed accommodation for their first year.
